ATM
First Federal's ATM Card allows you access to your checking account 24 hours a day 7 days a week at any of our three locations. After hours banking could not be easier! You can withdraw, deposit and transfer money between accounts safely and even make loan payments, and at your convenience. Your card is accepted worldwide wherever you see the Cirrus, MasterCard or Pulse symbol.

ATM/Debit Cards
First Federal's Debit Card allows you to withdraw money from your checking account without ever having to write a check. Use your debit card for all your routine purchases. Your First Federal Debit Card is accepted at thousands of MASTERCARD merchants worldwide, wherever you see the MASTERCARD logo. Paying with your debit card eliminates delays at the checkout. Your card also functions as an ATM card. It's the checking-withdrawing-depositing and transferring card all in one.

Using your card is fast and convenient! Every purchase is as simple as using a credit card, yet it works like a check. It's safer than carrying cash and is accepted worldwide.

Lost or Stolen ATM/Debit Cards
If you believe your ATM or Debit card has been lost or stolen, call us at (229) 244-0164 for Valdosta and Lake Park or after hours at the MasterMoney Lost & Stolen Card Center @ 1-800-554-8969 to place your card on the MasterCard Warning Bulletin Board.

Travelers Checks
If you travel, try our American Express Travelers Checks. Feel safe that these are recognized and accepted worldwide. We offer these at all branches to customers for a 1% fee.

Safe Deposit Boxes
To keep your valuable possessions and documents safe we offer safe deposit boxes for rent. Each office has these located in the vault that may be rented on an annual basis. The cost varies with the size of the box, but generally runs from $20.00 for a 2 X 5 up to $90.00 for a 10 X 10.

Your safe deposit box rent may be tax deductible.

Wire Transfers
Wires Services are available to First Federal customers. For details, please contact a Customer Service Representative at any local branch of First Federal.

Overdraft Protection
To avoid expensive Insufficient Fees and embarrassment of return checks you may sign up for our Overdraft Protection. This service is available upon request on any of our checking account products. You must have money on deposit in one of our Savings Products to qualify. Please speak with a Customer Service Representative for details.

Transfer Management System
This free service named "Transfer Management System" automatically transfers funds from one account to another. These automatic transfers relieve you as a customer of the responsibility for making deposits, withdrawals, and payments.

The funds for this activity can come from a checking or savings account. The account can be at one's bank or a checking or savings account at another bank. The automatic transfer can be done through an Automatic Clearing House (ACH) debit or as an internal transfer between accounts within the bank.

External recipient accounts can also be created for recurring ACH credits. This allows you the customer to transfer funds from a checking or savings account at the bank to a checking or savings account at another bank.

Funds can be transferred to any of the following types of accounts at the bank:

  • Mortgage loans (ML)
  • Consumer Credit loans/Installment loans (CCD or ID)
  • Checking accounts (DDA)
  • Savings accounts (SAV)

E-Statements
First Federal is offering a new convenient service called E-Statements. You can get your statements delivered to you online. It's quick, easy and best of all, it's FREE! If you choose this method you will no longer receive a statement in the mail. After you enroll you should receive an e-mail confirmation asking you to complete your enrollment at which time you will see a disclosure and be asked to accept our e-statement agreement. Your enrollment is then complete and the next time your statement drops you will be notified. You can access the link for E-Statements below or on the homepage of our website.

When enrolled with e-Statements you will receive:
  • E-mail notification from First Federal that your statement is available
  • Quicker availability of your statements
  • The same familiar statement format you are accustomed to
  • Access to 12 months of statement history
